GREENWICH INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL www.greenwichfilm.org Compelling. Provocative. Thrilling. Empowering. These are the adjectives that describe the films that play in the minds of tomorrow’s greatest filmmakers. Greenwich International Film Festival aims to elevate these gifted international filmmakers, annually celebrate the art of film and establish Greenwich, Connecticut as a film and visual arts epicenter. Hosted in Greenwich, Connecticut, an affluent community of art lovers located 45-minutes outside of Manhattan, this highly curated 3-day festival will connect an audience of prospective financiers, distributors and aficionados with rising stars in the film industry, all the while harnessing the power of film to support social welfare locally and beyond. The Greenwich International Film Festival’s “premiere” is scheduled for June 5-7th of 2015. The festival’s supporting workshops, seminars and exhibitions throughout the year will cultivate a burgeoning film and visual arts community in Greenwich and globally though its richly interactive website. Its broader mission is to support film and art education initiatives and to partner with other relevant socially conscious business and humanitarian organizations, harnessing the power of film.
