FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Contact Gordon Vasquez 310-902-8415 Bend Summerfest, BEND, OR (July 14, 2012) One of the most rockin communities in Central Oregon is Bend and this weekend marked the annual “Bend Summerfest”. The opening day kicked off with flowing cold beer from Deschutes Brewery and an abundance of tasty treats from the local vendors with endless food booths. “Bank of the Cascades has been the sponsor of Bend Summerfest for years and this event is one of the best” said, Joey Cooper, founder of Joie Media. One of the first bands to hit the center stage was “MOsley WOtta” that has a sound of rhythmic hip-hop reggae beats and a fun stage presence. Front man – lead singer MO WO aka KinKonk aka about 5 other aka names works the crowd like the poetry music he sings. Make sure you visit the MOsley WOtta FACEBOOK page as it pretty much sums up the MOsley WOtta’s sound “Poetry, quick lip rappin, vocals and such”. Band members Thomas Tsuneta (BASS), Jason Schmidt (DRUMS), Aaron Andre Miller (KEYS), Colten Tyler Willliams (GUITAR & SAMPLES) and Stephanie Slade (VOCALS). After soaking down a few beers the chit chat at the main stage was to head over and see Rickie Lee Jones at 9PM a few blocks away. Chase Bruder founder of Doggie Face offered us a few free tickets and then about 5 other friends offered us tickets and the concert pre-game started to feel like a Facebook Event where everyone is invited and sure enough the tickets were for marketing and not for entry — it was a free for all. Rickie Lee Jones looked amazing on stage and we wanted to hear her hit single “Chuck E’s In Love” but we could not make it through the set of the sleepy folk singer jams. After five minutes we headed back to the main stage to check out the “Pat Travers Band”. The Canadian Rocker and his band put on an insane show with driving guitar and vocals from Patrick Henry “Pat” Travers. The signature hit “BOOM BOOM OUT GO THE LIGHTS” ignited the Bend crowd and was a great close to an incredible show. If Summerfest Day two and three can match the success of the opening night, Bend will continue to be the ROCKIN Central Oregon City. If it wasn’t for a late night we would have covered the two guys taking to the sky with Lawn Chairs tied to 350 balloons,,,only IN BEND

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Contact Gordon Vasquez 310-902-8415 BEND, OR (July 16, 2012) The Bend Technology Fest in Bend Oregon experienced another year of success. The Oxford Hotel was the location for this years Tech Fest sponsored by David A. Abbajay owner of Abbajay Aoutomated Control Systems. It was all smiles when greeted by the front check in staff as they handed out complimentary drink tickets and swag bags full of information from the vendors that had products on display. We were impressed with the home entertainment displays that Abbajay offers. Some of the vendors included energy saving systems from Bend Home Heating & Cooling. Rick Secor gave us a demonstration on some of the air purifying systems that Bend Home & Heating offer. Lutron Electronics offered smart energy saving solutions for the home as well. James Gentes , Founder & CEO of The Social Business was on hand with Rys Fairbrother to explain strategic social marketing for small business and the new APP “GOOD PEEPLE” you can download on iTunes. Susanna Enghouse from Bend Broadband was educating the guests on the new services they offer and had plenty of complimentary Bend Broadband VOD coupons to give out. There were plenty of people downtown Bend due to this weekends Summerfest so the added foot traffic brought in a few extra people into the tech show. “This year we plan to see a larger attendance and excited about the future with the improving economy”, said David A. Abbajay.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Contact Gordon Vasquez 310-902-8415 BEND, OR (July 15, 2012) CAPTAIN PAUL WATSON “SOS” CANNES SPECIAL EVENT With celebrity guest Michelle Rodriguez – Paul Watson continues to stop the destruction of habitat and the slaughter of wildlife in the world’s oceans and conserve and protect ecosystems and species everywhere. UPDATE FROM CAPTAIN PAUL WATSON JULY 15th via FACEBOOK Apparently the tuna fish killers at Fish and Fish are not happy losers. This was a quote today in the Malta Times from John Refalo of Fish and Fish: “One way or another we will get him , it will just take more money…” Oh well just another enemy to deal with in a long line of enemies. Let me see: we are on the enemies's list of the Japanese, Icelandic, Faeroese whalers, the Canadian and Namibia sealers, the Japanese dolphin killers, the Maltese tuna poachers, The Costa Rican shark finners, the Fijian shark killers, and numerous other nefarious exploiters of our oceans. Oh and of course Greenpeace, who want to see us shut down also. Thankfully we have the support of thousands of people worldwide who want to see our oceans defended and the cruelty and the slaughter ended. I remain in Germany as a prisoner. The Brigitte Bardot and her crew are actively campaigning in the South Pacific. The Steve Irwin is being readied in Williamstown for a campaign this week with the announcement forthcoming tomorrow. The Bob Barker is in Sydney, Australia. Sea Shepherd Galapagos is pursuing the conviction of a wildlife smuggler that the Sea Shepherd supplied canine unit captured last week. The Cove Guardians are being readied for their return to Taiji, Japan. And Sea Shepherd supporters all over the world are working hard to support and carry out our campaigns on land and sea. Under pressure we persevere, under stress we strive forward, under attack we stand our ground and in the name of our clients we confront our enemies face to face in the most remote and hostile corners of the world in our effort to eradicate slaughter and cruelty and to defend, protect, and conserve biodiversity in our ocean. As for enemies, if we did not have any, it would simply mean that we had did nothing. The more we accomplish the more enemies we will cultivate. Thus the more enemies we recruit the more victories we will achieve.
