This is a great article on a common problem: folks who aren't exactly thrilled with you. The article offers some good advice on handling negatives, but they leave out an important one: ignore.
Oftentimes you don't need to reply because you either have enough supporters that they will do the job for you, or because the person is a troll (looking to get a rise out of you) or they won't ever be satisfied, and engaging them further is useless.
