I've always figured that a larger glass was more pleasant to use since I could better smell the wine and because it is visually nicer. Since my wife and I share one glass of wine if we have wine at all, obviously I don't drink more or less but always the same amount, three sips to her five.What I do know, however, is that sipping good wine improves a meal and drinking too much wine or inferior wine makes the food unimportant and is waste. So "chin-chin" and drink with moderation and style.

We Americans have to get over ourselves and recognize that we are part of the world if we want the rest of the world to be happy doing business with us. Meanwhile our wineries and fromageries will have to learn how to say they make related products.
