Is Cold Brew as Healthy as Regular Coffee? | enjoy yourself | Scoop.it
Experts weigh in on whether cold temperature diminishes hot coffee's amazing health perks
Kenneth Weene's insight:
I love iced coffee and much prefer the lower acidity and stronger caffeine level of cold-brewed, so this report makes me happy. Glad to know that I'm drinking healthy. Now, the big question, how about coffee ice-cream, better for us than vanilla? Inquiring stomachs want to know.

Speaking of coffee, have you tried Sal's Irish coffee? Check it out: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gDm0ugyphoI&t=3s ;

Out of the many products we consume daily, coffee has one of the greatest stories.
Kenneth Weene's insight:
A great bit of history for my favorite beverage. OK, there's a bit of marketing in here; obviously Starbucks had something to do with it and I don;t think Columbian is the best coffee in the world, but get past the hype and it's still the terrific story of COFFEE.

The 7 Most Influential Coffee Roasters in America

The 7 Most Influential Coffee Roasters in America | enjoy yourself | Scoop.it
Coffee roasters occupy a hazy, just-out-of-focus place in popular American food cultureeven those well-known enough to be recognized by name o
Kenneth Weene's insight:
Isn't it amazing how much money we spend to get a good cup of joe and how much time we spend on social media talking about coffee. How many times have your personally posted about the need for and the way to obtain the best cup possible? Obviously if your answer to that question is more than 1, you should be reading this article about roasters. But, for me, the real deal is the many fine smaller and local roasters who are striving to make a quality product that we can love. My top pick Arbuckle's, which you can find at https://www.arbucklecoffee.com

Of course some folks prefer tea. I do drink both. Tea of coffee? Now that's a question I love being asked. Of course, my answer is both, but in restaurants, I then start asking well what brands do you offer. Sometimes, I end up settling for water. Yeah, that picky! How about you?
