With regards to Kaplan Internacional, the best way to learn English is through immersive courses, travelling to an English speaking country or having English classes with other foreigners. However, not everybody has the opportunity to live in an English speking country for a long time or pay for classes. In addition to this, I strongly believe, as Adam says in his blog post, learning a language is a lifetime journey: the internet. The internet is a opened door to learning, to any language and culture you can imagine and it allows you to communicate with foreign people from all around the world. Road to grammar is a great site to practise grammar and vocabulary. One of the things I like the most about this site is that if you choose the wrong answer in the quiz and you click on Notes, it provides a note explaining why your answer is correct or incorrect. Understanding and using idioms in a foreign language helps us to communicate in a more realistic way. However, this is a difficult aspect of language learning since they differ a lot from language to language.
