Step 1) Your task, as the reader, is to effectively ‘decode’ a conversation from this scene and contemporize the language.

 

Step 2) Post your contemporary conversation in the comments below for class discussion later.

 

Step 3) Ask yourself, "Would I use this language on the playground or afterschool?" If the answer is yes, you've successfully completed the task :)
