I have also heard of studies conducted into how, in the areas of Aus still run by the Aborigine gardeners, there are certain marsupials endemic to Aus that are only found in the areas still gardened by the "gardeners"

'Breathing' Battery Powered by Air | Engineering | Scoop.it

Researchers at this week's meeting of the American Chemical Society described their work on a “breathing” battery that could replace the standard lithium-ion batteries. The technology works by replacing the cathode, a key battery component, with air, making the battery lighter and leaving more room for electric energy that could power the cars.

Another problem with electric cars is that charging takes time. When you run out of petrol you can fill up in a few minutes. Unfortunately this is not the case with electric cars. We need to look into something like having removable batteries so that when you reach the end of your range you can swop a battery out at a station! And then continue your driving.
