Biogas is a renewable source of energy generated from both animal and human excreta as well as green waste. A renewed material is produced by collecting waste materials which are going to be processed in a digester. The liquid waste can be used as an organic fertilizer while the energy produced will be used to light households. Converting Biogas waste into a source of power is no longer a scientific wonder. It is widely implemented in different countries worldwide including the African Nations.

In my previous articles, I have stated that nuclear power is on the decline and that renewable energy sources are starting to be the more popular choice for several countries. A number of governments have started backing down from their nuclear development efforts. A primary cause of nuclear power’s decline is the disaster experienced by Japan after the meltdown of a nuclear plant in Fukushima. However, another main drawback of nuclear power that I haven’t touched on much in this blog is its impracticality in terms of finance.
