Peak output or at peak times?  One reduces more GHG and the other helps knock the top off afternoon peak demand. Here in the Southern Hemisphere you can swap south for north.

What to do with closed landfills of largely undevelopable land? Many cities and towns are using that unused and often unusable land to generate revenue and/or save on energy costs through solar farms.

Something to look at here, using landfill not only for energy extraction from methane, but use the area to generate another form of energy at the same time. More kW per square meter.  Another form of energy efficiency.
