The 25 most popular online tools for freelancers (infographic)

The 25 most popular online tools for freelancers (infographic) | Empreendedorismo para startups | Scoop.it

BestVendor is releasing the result of its 2012 Freelancer Survey tomorrow, revealing the most popular tools and apps for freelancers and entrepreneurs. But the company gave VentureBeat a sneak peek today. The single most popular tool? Überpopular file-sharing, storage, and back-up service DropBox. Evernote, the electronic memory app, comes in at No. 4. The number of times Google shows up on the list is simply shocking, although I supposed it shouldn’t be. Google make no less than seven appearances in to the top 25, including Gmail, Google Docs, Google Voice, Google Calendar, Google Alerts, Google AdWords, and Google Analytics.

Accelerate Your Customer Development: How to Quickly Get Dozens of Interviews

Accelerate Your Customer Development: How to Quickly Get Dozens of Interviews | Empreendedorismo para startups | Scoop.it

Steve Blank teaches entrepreneurs to test business assumptions by conducting dozens of interviews with prospective customers. At first it took me a huge amount of time, but over the years I’ve developed a process to make it easier. I manage a running list of interview candidates, organize my calendar with help from a virtual assistant, and have a well-crafted intro request email. I hope it saves you time as well.

The End of a Job as We Know It

The End of a Job as We Know It | Empreendedorismo para startups | Scoop.it

"The concept of a job, as we know it, is starting to go away.

Over the last year I've been speaking with many corporate business and HR leaders and have heard a common theme: we need our organizations to be more agile. We need to redesign the organization so we can learn faster, communicate better, and respond more rapidly to change. This quest for the agile organization has changed the nature of what we call a job."
