Content must be hosted by LinkedIn or one of the approved services (including sites like YouTube, Pinterest, SlideShare, Spotify, TED and Twitter)Files should not exceed 100MB in size.Include calls to action on your image title and/or description (i.e., Click to view, Watch video).If possible, include a live link to your articles. If the link doesn’t generate or the image isn’t suitable, upload a screenshot/photo and manually enter the information. You can’t currently control the image that is autopopulated.You can reorder your media among sections of your profile. Click on Move this media in edit mode to access a drop-down menu of locations to move it to within your profile.Individual images can be rearranged by dragging and dropping them within a section of your profile.All titles and descriptions can be edited or updated.Only public URL links can be included at present.Start getting social with visual content by liking or commenting on images in other profiles.Mix up your visual media. Add a range of images, photos, screenshots, video and presentations. Each network give different results and you have to maximize the ROI of your campaigns. So, looking at the data collected by Shopify, we ca learn some useful tips.

 

1) Facebook drives 66% of visits to Shopify stores and 85% of sells belongs to it.

 

2) In 2013 the fast growing network for number of originated orders was Reddit, increased by 152% followed by Facebook (129%), LinkedIN (122%) and Pinterest (79%).

 

3) the highest average in revenue was by Polyvore (66$)

 

4) each social network works better in specific industry. For Example Pinterest performs better for Antiques and collectibles, IT and books; Youtube for the automotive, services, digital products.
