Measure Your Content Marketing ROI with Call Tracking

Measure Your Content Marketing ROI with Call Tracking | Employer branding | Scoop.it
CEOs live by the bottom line, so marketers need to show how their content directly impacts lead generation and the resulting revenue. Find out how to measure your content marketing ROI more easily ...

Moving your career ahead after a merger - Ask Annie -Fortune Management

Especially if yours was the acquired company, it’s a whole new ball game now. Here’s how to swing for the fences.
Daniel Sonesson's insight:

"Make no mistake, a post-merger company is a whole new enterprise. "If you're sitting at the same desk in the same office, it's easy to think that nothing much has really changed," notes Steve Spires, an Atlanta managing director at human resources consultants BPI Group. "But in fact, and especially if yours was the acquired entity, you're now working for a different company, just as if you'd gone out and gotten a new job somewhere else.""

Interesting article and indeed true. Many career decisions are not proactive, they are reactive. Talents find themselves in a new reality and suddenly the routines and borders are broken.

Paying with Personal Satisfaction

Many assume that passionate employees accept less money because they love their jobs, but a new study indicates that they end up earning more.
Daniel Sonesson's insight:

I'd say it is true that you can make passionate people and employees walk the extra mile, not directly thinking of their monetary compensation. They will instead want a mental compensation and development. However, their output is often of higher quality and more importantly it impacts more onto the organization and thus these people often attain important roles, tasks and responsibility within an organization leading them to higher monetary compensation in the other end - due to their passion. Be passionate about what you do!
