I grew up selfish. Everyone in my family was selfish and competitive so it seemed normal for me and everyone else in my life to operate in this manner.
I didn't know what else to do even though I was often discontent. My attitude since then has changed and it is all because of a video game.
As the founder of Electronic Arts and creator of EA Sports, I am well-known for making video games. My career grew out of childhood sports heroes – I had the competitive desire to simulate and control those games in order to win in competitions.
This is a new model for digital learning and a great way to model lifelike situations that illustrate the benefits of empathy and compassion.
