Thanks, Nik, and sorry if I raised unnecessary doubts about this service; I suppose we all need to boost our digital literacy, and being able to figure out if a web tool is safe is one of the key skills, isn't it? Cheers!

Hi Amadeu. No problem. It's always a good idea to check every source before signing up. I work very quickly and often forget so it's good to remind me. I usualy stay away from services which require me to sign in through another service, but this looks really good so I made an exception.

Twitter spam accounts have been an issue for years. The fact that brands, especially big ones, buy followers is proof that they still don't understand how to leverage social media properly.
Grow your followership naturally by being their go-to resource.
Ana Quillinan's curator insight,
April 29, 1:10 PM
This is the epitome in lacking integrity -- growing your followers naturally (organically as the gurus say it) is all about being their go-to resource - no doubt about it. And, nope, I'm hearing more and more how many people know those followers are fake -- just click on their follower list and see how many 'eggs' and names with no profile descriptions exist....
Sad to see brands care more about their numbers than their substance... Delete the scoop?

I have been playing with Google Keep for the last hour to review the extension. I wish I had an Android phone to test the options there.
The only thing that I can say is that it's pretty awesome. It's a basic extension but it does its job.

May not need to hire an assistant just yet! Going to give Google Keep a try.

Another way to save notes on the fly. Not convinced that this adds value but for chrome users it could come in handy. I'll stick to my combination of creating Tasks, Calander events and Evernote Delete the scoop?

Great Neville Hobson Post On What's Next One area that is constantly on the attention radar is largely to do with the ‘how’ of news consumption. It’s not only about the TV any more: it’s also about computers, tablets and smartphones, separately and used in conjunction with one another. This is the so-called second-screen experience that is already evolving into three or more screens as multiple-device ownership and usage become more common with greater access to the tools, greater understanding of what you can do with them and greater quantities of content to consume and share opinion about.
TV As Hub At Home * Messages should be adapted to their medium not the other way. * News or "news forms" are viable and important marketing tactics. * Data ads new credibility to Meerman Scott's NewsJacking ideas. * Real time TV is amplified by "second screen" content curation. This last bullet is what I'm doing now. It may seem as if my blog post about second screens is unrelated to NCIS or now Body of Proof but their content is what is playing and so earning the reference.

I think like all curation tools, you need to find what works for you. If you have time investigate the next thing if not, stick with what you know.

This is a clever idea (a few on the market). I have used the system a few times and it's really great. You can persoanlise the photo and send as an image without finding stamps and a visit to the post office. Delete the scoop?

A vast collection of PechaKucha 20x20 presentations that may be a great source of inspiration for learning how to do it and creating one's own presentation. The site hosts presentations in more than 20 languages from events in a huge number of cities all around the world. PechaKucha is a fantastic activity for students who need to practice their speaking skills. Why not organize a PechaKucha event in your school?
