Robin Sharma: How to Become The Hero of Your Life | Success Inspiration

Robin Sharma: "So the thing about success is when it shows up, it’s easy to lose the hunger/sincerity/empathy/industry and relatability that got you there. That’s why so many empires fall. And so many icons fail"

Cee Harmon's insight:

According to Robin Sharma, "The brighter the fire in your belly to achieve something special, the more hurts you’ll have. The more you play out on the jagged edges of your greatest potential, the more fears you’ll face. And the more falls you’ll take. Continuing with what you’ve committed to breeds deep fulfillment. And authentic power."

Stephen Dubner: Think Small to Tackle Big Problems Piece by Piece

Big problems are by their nature really hard to solve for a variety of reasons. One is they're large and therefore they include a lot of people and therefore they include a lot of crossed and often mangled and perverse incentives.

Cee Harmon's insight:

According to Stephen Dubner, "There's a lot of people out there thinking big. Maybe some of them will be successful. Probably not so many honestly. It's very, very hard. Our argument is -- you know what? Let the people who are gonna try to think big solve big problems -- let them go."

"There's enough people doing that. Why don't you just try to think small. Why don't you try to find one piece of the problem that you can identify and peel it off and try to solve that problem or answer that question."
