It’s a Mistake Not to Use Mistakes as Part of the Learning Process | Elementary Technology Education | Scoop.it

Scan completed answer sheets with InstaGrade Scanner for iOS.

If there are free-response questions, we'll prompt you to grade them right there. Otherwise, it's completely automatic.

Terri Rice's curator insight, November 6, 5:24 PM

What's not to love about this tool? Nothing.... Teacher's of all ages can appreciate the tiresome tradition of late night grade-a-thons. This just might help make quizzes a more pleasant experience. At least for the instructors.

New, Free, Collabrified Apps for iPads: WeWrite+ & WeSketch+ -- THE Journal

New, Free, Collabrified Apps for iPads: WeWrite+ & WeSketch+ -- THE Journal | Elementary Technology Education | Scoop.it
In this blog we introduce two new, free, collabrified apps for iPads: WeWrite+ (a collabrified text editor) and WeSketch+ (a collabrified drawing and animating app). The collabrification of educational apps continues! That’s good news: making collaborative learning apps ubiquitous means that a learner never has to learn alone again!
rwestby's insight:

The new buzz work in apps seems to be "collabrification." Basically, apps are made to allow multiple users collaborating on projects simultaneously from anywhere. These are free apps in iPad iOS and still being developed for Android devices slated to come out in December. Currently, the WeWrite+ and WeSketch+ are built to run with either Google Hangouts or Skype in the background. Watch for the capability to collaborate like this to come to websites.
