Ręczny skaner ECTACO/C-Pen 2.0 to doskonałe urządzenie do odczytu tekstu. Łączy on niewielkie rozmiary (wyglądem przypomina marker), prostą instalację oraz łatwość użycia.
ECTACO/C-Pen 2.0 to doskonałe urządzenie do odczytu tekstu. Pełni on funkcję ręcznego skanera. Jego prostota obsługi oraz niewielkie rozmiary czynią go bardzo pomocnym w codziennej pracy biurowej. C-Pen 20 wyglądem przypomina marker z wbudowanym kablem USB. Skanowanie tekstu odbywa się poprzez przesunięcie urządzenia nad drukowanym pismem. Zeskanowany tekst pojawia się w wybranej aplikacji w komputerze, w miejscu gdzie ustawiony jest kursor myszy. Godna podkreślenia jest szybkość odczytu, która wynosi 15 cm/s oraz szybkość przesyłania danych. Obok tekstu drukowanego (również polskiego), C-Pen 20 czyta cyfry, jednowymiarowe kody kreskowe oraz specjalne czcionki bankowe: OCR-A, OCR-B i MICR (E13B). Przetwarza tekst o wielkości 5-22 pt napisany w 167 językach.
