Infographics - are a great way for learners to digest information in an engaging and visual way. This is a clever infographic that describes the top 10 eLearning Design principles.

ashleydigitallearning's curator insight, March 30, 2014 6:05 PM

This is right up my professional ally. I was a Creative director of an Advertising agency for many years and good design is VITAL to communicationg ANY message. I often see what I term "computer -aided bad design" in posters, newspaper ads  even personal cards such as birthday cards etc.

What happens is the graphic artist is presented with so many choices in font, design layouts etc by computer software that they go "beserk" and break all the rules of effective communication and typesetting.

The younger generation think faster and absord info faster than we ever did but we invented the "70's pop poster" which was diabolical in it's fussiness and lack of simplicity. I will design two posters with the same information and place it on my blogger to demonstrate.. and YOU tell me which one you absorbed and retained the information better..

"In the last five years, the social web has been offering myriad tools that support everyday communication, productivity and collaboration.
