Siyavuya was introduced to me by a friend at GIBS. He was in the process of seeking funding and the common friend thought it would be a good idea for him to sit down with me to see if I could assist in any way. We met (over coffee of course) and I proceeded to completely and utterly disintegrate his business plan on which he has been working for a while (Siyabuya: I am so sorry!). Below is his version of the business plan murder in the hope that it will be of use to other entrepreneurs and would be entrepreneurs.

Testing and Implementing an Innovation - ENTREPRENEURS & INVESTORS IN AFRICA | Facebook | Entrepreneurs & Investors in Africa | Scoop.it

Anyone can create new ideas or try to #innovate – what is critical is whether you test and implement an #innovation. Here are four steps to turn your #innovative #ideas into reality:

1) Ideas and innovation - The first step in any innovation process is to generate ideas. No idea is a silly idea and it is critical that as many people as possible engage.

2) Incubation - The next step is to incubate the best ideas.

3) Implementation - Once you have incubated your best ideas, focus on a solution, or a set of sensible parameters and implement your idea fully.

4) Exit / Sustain - The final step in any innovation process is choosing to either exit or sustain the project. The innovation can't go on for ever!
