"Discovered intact on February 2nd, 1886, the tomb of Sennedjem, “servant in the Place of Truth” at Deir el-Medina, contained a wealth of funerary equipment consisting of some 180 pieces belonging not only to the tomb owner, but also to his wife and to several generations of members of his family.
In this publication, the first of the “Corpus” series, Adel Mahmoud collects all the ushabti boxes of all types, vases, and sticks found in the tomb, today dispersed in different museum collections. This booklet contains the presentation of the material as well as an historical overview ; on the DVD, one may easily consult the scholarly catalogue, which includes, for each item, a description and museum data, a copy of the inscriptions with their translation, and one or more images."
