Evaluate features on a website by getting students to offer their opinions. Students drag text boxes over features and write in short comments.

Good for evaluating students websites or anything else with a visible URL. Also good for reviewing other websites

Blogging About The Web 2.0 Connected Classroom: So...You Wanna Use Voicethread

I think collaboration and reflection are 2 of the biggest skills that kids need but aren't really getting enough of. Having the opportunity to work together in meaningful ways and to reflect on their work and the work of their peers is key to being a learner. There are lots of tools that you can use to help kids collaborate and reflect. Blogs are a great example. Podcasts are another. However, each can be daunting to set up and actually do.

Free Technology for Teachers: Try GmapGIS to Draw on Google Maps | EFL Teaching Journal | Scoop.it

GmapGIS is a free tool for marking and drawing on maps without having to create or use a Google account. GmapGIS provides tools for drawing lines and shapes, adding markers, adding labels, and measuring distances. To get started just visit GmapGIS and select the drawing or labeling tools that you want to use. When you are finished drawing on and labeling you can share your map by sending the link that is automatically generated for your map. You can also save a KML file for your map and view it in Google Earth.

Educational Technology Guy: Droplr - great, free file sharing service

Educational Technology Guy: Droplr - great, free file sharing service | EFL Teaching Journal | Scoop.it

"Droplr is a file sharing service that has a great free account that gives you 1GB of storage and allows uploads up to 25MB. It's not a file syncing service, but rather a file sharing service.  It's very easy to use. Simply drag the file you want to share from your computer and drop it on the space on the Droplr web site. Then you just share the link with others and they can download the file."
