This resources, found in Twitter would be useful for allowing students to research a range of digital resources (ACARA, 2013) and be able to design and implement their own online communication resource based on what they found works best. GoodGearGuide has included tweets that keep updated reviews of many digital resources that would help educaors to implement digital technologies into the classroom as well as helping students be able to use online resources effectively.

This inclusion into the topic of 'Effective Online Communication and Digital Literacies' is useful for the teaching of online safety. The best additions to Twitter are added so tat teachers can access how to best guide students to being effective and safe when using online enviornments and communicating online. It allows them to learn how to make ethical decisions, use safe practices and how to implement rules and behaviours online (ACARA, 2013).

iPad Tutorial - Fotobabble

This tutorial shows you how to use Fotobabble on the iPad to add audio recordings to images and then convert them to short video clips.

With the inclusion of literacy as a general capability within the Technologies Curriculum along with students being able to use a range of digital systems for diverse purposes (ACARA, 2013), this resource would be beneficial. It allows educators to use Fotobabble on the iPad to add audio recordings to images and then convert them to short video clips. This would also increase students engagement and would allow them to be involved in their learning.

Here's another very easy to use app. There's lots of scope for learners to use their English taking snaps and commenting on them. Another simple idea is for the teacher to take a snap of their whiteboard and then add a commentary and use this resulting video to remind learners of the point covered in class.

Teachers are able to select relevant materials which will aide in effective education of issues that arise during online communication and using the internet. It can also assist in helping children to understand appropriate methods of using the internet to communicate.

This resources is excellent for children to understand and practice ethical decision making, safe online behaviour and digital communication (ACARA, 2013). It allows students to be engaged in their learning and to help them develop digital literacy skills when listening to and responding to actions in the games. Although it has been created for middle and high school, middle school is still, at this stage part of the primary sector.

TeacherTube: an online community for sharing instructional videos. We seek to fill a need for a more educationally focused, safe venue for teachers, schools, and home learners.

Teacher Tube is a way of safely sharing information specific to students learning needs. Teachers are able to develop resources to show on Teacher Tube in order to cover a particular concept. It could also be used for students to create and design their own digital resource that is safe for online communication and collaboration (ACARA, 2013).

This is a poster that is valuable for students to be able to refer to during class and to understand the many areas of digital literacy. According to the Technologies Curriculum (ACARA, 2013) students need to learn about onlnine safety, digital creativity and collaboration. Therefore, effectively utilising this resources by teaching the concepts to students and displaying it in the classroom would be beneficial for the implementation of digital literacies.

Some of you may be working in a technology-rich environment where you have interactive whiteboards and students have access to the internet in the classroom, or a computer lab that you can take students to. Some of you may only have a single computer in your classroom or, perhaps, like the majority of schools around the world, you may have no computer access in school at all. Whichever is the case, this series will still have something to offer you and will enable you to offer something more to your students, either in class or through the development of more motivating homework tasks that students can access outside of school.

It allows students to learn how to design and implement  visual programs, use a range of digital systems and use safe online communications (ACARA, 2013). It provides many explanations surrounding many available digital technologies for the classroom which is titled 'Tech Tools for Teachers' and would allow educators to effectively implement digital technologies into their planning.
