Many picture books need to be modified for children with Cortical Visual Impairment (CVI). Decreasing visual clutter and increasing contrast is a simple strategy.

I have many parents asking me about what to put in their sensory or therapy rooms as many make additions to houses and create space for the various adaptive equipment that comes with having a special needs child.  Some of these moms have GREAT ideas!
