Genial a utilização da taxonomia de Bloom nesse infografico das possiveis atividades em formato "blended"(mix presencial e on line)

Dr. Melissa A. Bordogna's curator insight, March 26, 2015 1:59 AM

At a glance, I thought this a helpful infographic.  It also made me think of the types of feedback I give my students.  In addtion to using a rubric (marking criteria), I tend to provide a fair bit of written feedback.

How about you...Which types of feedback have you found to be very effective in terms of student learning (as oppose to time-saving for us)?

Karen Ellis's curator insight, April 1, 2015 6:57 PM

Designing and planning assesment in online learning is very important.  This infographic reminds us of the importance of making the task student centric and that  ongoing feedback is critical.

Adding annotations to YouTube videos is a good way to add little bubbles of information to a video or to create a series of choose your own adventure videos. A great example of using annotations in student-produced videos can be found here. In the video embedded below I provide directions for adding annotations to your YouTube videos. You can also find screenshots of the process in this post.

What to do if you lost or forgot your iPad passcode | iPad Insight

What to do if you lost or forgot your iPad passcode | iPad Insight | PBL & Blended Classrooms | Scoop.it
So you created an awesome passcode for your iPad.  You were extremely proud of this passcode, too.  For once, you selected one that wasn’t a birthday, or anniversary or special day that was easy to remember.  You finally listened to all the published articles about how important it is to use arbitrary info with a combination of numbers _and_ letters.  However, for some reason one day you simply forgot it or lost the “cheat-sheet” you typically use to save all your passwords?  For the sake of this tutorial, let’s just assume that you didn’t set-up Touch-ID, no one else knows your code, and you have no other known way to retrieve it.  Now what?

An Example of PBL in Early Elementary: How I Started | PBL & Blended Classrooms | Scoop.it
When I look at my first graders and see how much the first grade classroom has changed over the last decade, it is hard for me to imagine what jobs will be out there for them in 15 years. However, what is clear is that there are specific skills -- both academic and interpersonal -- that my students will need to possess to find a successful career. The Common Core standards clearly outline what my students need to be able to master when they leave first grade, however there are also other crucial skills that many educators are calling the 4 C’s: Collaboration, Communication, Critical Thinking and Creativity that are skills highly desired by future employers.

EasyBib Tools is definitely a must have app for college and research students. With one click you can generate citations for websites and create bibliographies. It is a time saving tool for sure but I would not trust it one hundred per cent, always go through the citations and make sure they are properly formatted.

EasyBib tools also provides you with a bunch of other nifty features such as credibility ratings of the website you are visiting. You can also build a fully-formatted, alphabetized, and Word-processor-ready bibliography of all the sources you have cited.

5 Simple Tools For Teachers To Create And Publish Apps Of Their Own - TeachThought

5 Simple Tools For Teachers To Create And Publish Apps Of Their Own - TeachThought | PBL & Blended Classrooms | Scoop.it

"What with the almost universal proliferation of smartphones among students, even at the elementary school level, it would seem like a no-brainer for an educator to utilize mobile apps as effective and readily-accepted learning tools. And if an educator can’t find an app that does exactly what he or she wants, the logical next step is to develop and publish their own. Besides, what else do they have to do with all the free time with which all educators are blessed?"

Siempre vale tener presente estas dicotomías

PCGS_rEDUcation's curator insight, February 6, 2014 1:12 PM
