Feedbag.io is a free web app which allows you to upload any .png, .jpeg, .gif, .pdf, .psd, .eps or .ai set of image files and to share it with another party that wants to review it.

You simply upload one or more images and you are instantly provided with a unique page that shows your uploaded pics on a left column of thumbnails and in the center of the screen, whichever image you have selected.

The "bag" of images uploaded remains online for you and other to see.

Supereasy to use. Ideal for sharing and reviewing image sets with people that need maximum ease of use and simplicity.

P.S.: While not officially advertised for this use, Feedbag.io acts as fantastic and quite reliable file converter for any .AI or .EPS file that you cannot view if you don't have access to a copy of Illustrator or Photoshop. You simply upload the .eps or .ai and in a matter of seconds you can see it finely displayed on your screen. From there you can capture it again and save it in your preferred file format. Very handy.

Free to use.

Laura Salas's insight:
A great read explaining collaborative learning. It poses the questions: "Can you think of any ways in which collaborative learning might take off in the digital age? What does collaborative learning mean to you and how do you think it will evolve?" I think collaborative learning has already taken off and is booming at the moment with hundreds of tools that have been made available for doing so. For me it has been very helpful in understanding and communicating with my peers and coworkers. It has made my job a whole lot easier and allowed me to reach out to my students in new ways.

Collaborative Free P2P Screen-Sharing for Macs and PCs with ScreenHero

Via Robin Good
Laura Salas's insight:

This sounds like something interesting to try. For those interested in screen sharing when collaborating ScreenHero may be the tool for you.

Robin Good's curator insight, November 24, 2013 5:32 AM

ScreenHero is a downloadable app for Windows and Mac computers that allows you to collaborate one-on-one on the same app with someone else at a distance.

ScreenHero has recently added full support for Windows PCs and it now integrates a voice feature allowing you also to talk with the person you are collaborating with.

Your login credentials and session data are fully encrypted using a P2P TLS scheme (SSL based).

ScreenHero operates as a P2P app, allowing parties to hook up directly to one another, and resorting to its centralized servers only when a direct connection is not possible for some reason.

My comment: An excellent screen-sharing tool for distributed teams. If you regularly operate with someone else at a distance and you need to easily and reliably share screens to see and edit drafts, mock-ups, presentations or code, ScreenHero is a great resource.

N.B.: If you are on a PC you will need a recent version of Windows, as PCs with Vista and earlier Windows versions are not supported.

Free version available.
