Processo de Bolonha, bacharelado interdisciplinar e algumas implicações para o ensino superior privado no Brasil - Ensino Superior Unicamp | Educational Technology and Sustainability | Scoop.it

O processo da Curadoria de Conteúdo

O processo da Curadoria de Conteúdo | Educational Technology and Sustainability | Scoop.it

Ricardo Costa's curator insight, May 21, 10:48 AM

Connected Learning in the Workplace: the next generation of learning practices

Connected Learning in the Workplace: the next generation of learning practices | Educational Technology and Sustainability | Scoop.it

“Today’s enterprises are seeing and experiencing the value of both social software and cloud-based content collaboration systems. By connecting people and giving them the means to discuss, unlock and increase knowledge sharing across the workforce, these services are driving productivity and increasing efficiency in organizations across the globe.”

As a result, employees are learning very differently in this new connected workplace; they are learning continuously, autonomouslyand socially - as they carry out their daily work. And in consequence, this now means that we need a new generation of “organised” learning practices, ones that are closer to the ways that people are now working and learning in their jobs.

Technology Will Not Replace Teachers

Technology Will Not Replace Teachers | Educational Technology and Sustainability | Scoop.it
Technology can open doors, expand minds, and change the world. That may be true, but it's not the panacea that it's been made out to be. As much innovation as the iPad may bring to the classroom, it's not going to replace a teacher anytime soon.

Alfredo Corell's curator insight, October 27, 2013 3:20 PM

So yes, technology is going to play a critical role in the future of education. But not as big a role as that of a teacher.

Melissa Marshall's curator insight, October 27, 2013 5:01 PM

Indeed - good teachers are going to become even more valuablem not less.

Audrey's curator insight, November 3, 2013 11:07 AM

Absolutely true.  Technology is another way to present material which needs to be learned.   Learners will always need someone to explain information found on the iPad in the same way they do with books.

5 Great Tutorials on How to Build your Personal Learning Network

5 Great Tutorials on How to Build your Personal Learning Network | Educational Technology and Sustainability | Scoop.it

A personal learning network is a method of linking kids and adults to major sources of information on the Internet. It is like choosing your closest friends that you want to listen to because they keep you up
to date, you trust what they have to say, and it is your method of keeping current on what is going on. Will Richardson has created a very very important book here that every teacher  should read and
implement both in their own lives and in the lives of their students. Will provides a number of tools that help all of us link to our favorites and even provides directions for getting started with each tool he recommends.
More importantly, he describes and promotes the idea of the classroom (and we can say Learning Commons) where PLNs are as natural as plugging in and turning on.  The book is entitled : Personal Learning Networks: Using the Power of Connections to Transform Education

Here are some great video tutorials on how to create and use your own PLN

10 astuces pour YouTube

10 astuces pour YouTube | Educational Technology and Sustainability | Scoop.it

- YouTube accueille 800 millions d’utilisateurs uniques mensuels,
