the digital portfolio process outlines

AAEEBL's comment, January 20, 2013 8:12 PM
ReScooped, but I want to raise some questions about some of the key values eportfolios offer such as peer interaction and social learning and integrative knowledge and reflection. This 3-step process seems to make it all look very simple, but there's a good deal of educational transformation and adjustment to new pedagogical practices that go along with these three steps.
AAEEBL's curator insight, January 20, 2013 8:13 PM

I'd be very interested in comments on these three steps?  What's being left out?  Social learning?  Integrative learning?  Reflection?  This does not reflect any values in eportfolio work or actual LEARNING advantages.  Thoughts?

About That App Gap: Children, Technology and the Digital Divide | Educational Technology and New Pedagogies | Scoop.it

The skills people will always need to thrive -- deep thinking, the ability to differentiate fact from hype, creativity, self-regulation, empathy, and self-reflection -- aren't learned in front of screens.
