Extremely important piece by Ian Bogost. Privatization of education is a choice with lots of consquences for the common good and wealth. MOOCs replacing normal schooling is a bad and insufficient solution which won't serve those who need education the most

All to familiar sadly. There is indeed a disconnect between edtech companies/entrepeneurs and teachers. Most tools I know aren't that good. And the bottom-line (making money) isn't necessarily in line with equitable education. My bottom-line Delete the scoop?

Careful with cherrypicking PISA number 2006 numbers are a bit dated. South Korea (exactly the opposite of Finland) has improved even more over the last years. But on the whole of course a very good overview of Finnish education. And something to strive for.
