Get More Out Of Google #Infographic | Education Research | Scoop.it

By HackCollege - http://bit.ly/wE54es ;

@hackcollege

There is a complete underground world of mind-blowing search tools for Google.

This Infographic by Hack College shows that three out of every four students couldn’t perform a “well-executed search”.

Typing “regular show death punchies” instead of simply “regular show” does not constitute a well-executed search.

Instead, there’s a whole list of tildes, brackets, and quotation points that can tweak a search for better or worse.

Check it out! http://bit.ly/ABDSY3 ;

Top 10 Sites for Curating the Web | Tech & Learning

Top 10 Sites for Curating the Web | Tech & Learning | Education Research | Scoop.it

"With the amount of information that is available on the internet, it's important for teachers to filter through websites to find relevant information in a timely manner. As a blogger, I believe we "curate" the web automatically to help keep things organized and to convey information in as detailed and easy a way as possible. Now, with the addition of dedicated websites, people can curate the web and save information on their own while sharing this vital information with others."
