Green Chalk Team's curator insight, May 26, 2013 11:37 AM

District know that dropping devices into the classrooms is not the answer. There are two aspects: 1. We have to make sure the teachers are educated on correct utilization and 2. What's the actual utilization of the devices.

From our research, we notice more districts dropping tech devices into classes and somehow hoping that will accelerate the learning process. It doesn't and under utilizes the devices and it's functionality.

A suggestion and approach we have pushed out is create a traning program with 10 applications on a device that would solve gaps in the classroom. Start there and integrate 5 every year.
