This article discusses what constitutes a copyright infringement and  how to avoid this violation. Copyright holders, fair use, and copyright protection acts. This is a good article for teachers because it simply states how to know if something is copyrighted and special exceptions for educational use. Along with the exceptions, it also lists how to adequately practice fair use as a teacher to avoid copyright violations.

Our education system is not broken, it has just become obsolete When I think of all the tremendous, seemingly impossible feats made possible by entrepreneurs, I am amazed that more has not been done to reinvent our education system.

This brief summary of copyright law and education today emphasizes one key factor affecting teachers and students today; technology. This is a good little article for teachers because it has a couple great statements regarding technology and the need to educate students on its possibilities, but also the repercussions that can follow should they not pay attention to copyright laws and how to act accordingly. Interpretation of copyright laws and violations, media literacy, and education are all referenced in this short article. The picture attached I thought was also a great visual for the content we're studying.

This sounds like a good article (and I agree the graphic is appropriate). I would like to know more about the actual content--what laws were coverered? what principles did you learn about? what court cases are relevant?
