This looks like a very interesting tool at the author gives some great ideas for using it in the classroom.

Jennifer McDonald's curator insight, April 7, 2015 11:26 PM

Zaption allows the teacher to insert text on the video, to draw or annotate on the video or to insert thought provoking questions.

This could be huge!!! Especially in flipped classrooms or where you want the students to see an experiment and think about why and how things are happening as they see them!

Anita Vance's curator insight, April 18, 2015 9:17 AM

This has some great applications and implications - the author does a great job explaining the features and usefulness in various settings.  Makes this an exciting proposition!

Love this quote, "Educators are now focusing on how the maker movement can be truly meaningful: it’s not about where making is happening, but about how creating, experimenting, and collaborating impact education. In addition, some high schoolers tinkering their free periods away can discover a passion—sometimes leading to a future educational focus or even scholarship money."
