Kahoot! is a blended learning platform which creates an engaging learning space, through a game-based digital pedagogy. Kahoot! is a blended learning platform which creates an engaging learning space, through a game-based digital pedagogy.
Features
HOW IS IT DIFFERENT TO EXISTING STUDENT RESPONSE SYSTEMS?
LEARNER-CENTRIC,
USING ANY DEVICE
Not just a clicker, Kahoot! allows learners to both respond AND create with any device that has a web browser and works over wifi or 3G/4G, creating a variety of trusted learning spaces.
GAME-BASED PEDAGOGY
& ACADEMIC RESEARCH
Gaming mechanics provide additional engagement, motivation and rewards through learners' participation, with a game-based pedagogy which is proven by academic research.
SOCIAL IN
BOTH SENSES
The blended learning approach means that as well as the social experience created through asking/answering questions in a physical setting, Kahoot! is a platform for sharing, browsing, favouriting or playing content created by educators and learners globally.

UNDERSTAND, ASSESS AND ADAPT WITH DATA
Formative assessment and adaptive teaching happens though our data providing educators with a ‘snapshot’ of each learners current understanding AND longer term tracking of progress.

Tons of Classroom Examples Using Augmented Reality

Tons of Classroom Examples Using Augmented Reality | Education | Scoop.it

Augmented reality allows someone to add another layer to an existing image.  For example, imagine holding your phone over a poster on the wall as if you were going to take a photo of that poster, and then instantly a video starts playing to offer you additional information about that particular poster.  Pretty cool, right?  The first time it happens, it seems like magic.
