Donna shoesmith's insight:

Several of you have sung the praises of Pages and I must admit, it is very good, but I also like ITunesU.  What would you recommend for ease of use and potential teaching tools?

Good, but for teachers in New Zealand the curriculum and professional development still needs to be connecged to these resources. Teachers can do this, of course, but wouldn't it be nice if there were some resources available which make those connections?

Richard Whiteside's curator insight, October 7, 2013 4:56 AM

But are these apps really any good for education?

Using grammar correctly could be challenging may be not for those who are English native speaker, but surely for those who learn English from scratch. English language and its difficulties can be very much puzzling. Although, a dictionary or software can assist learners but it cannot give accurate answer. In fact, word processing programs are not very much effective in correcting grammar errors completely.
