There have been schools districts all over that are now allowing students to use their cell phones in class. They have policies that say if they are used for educational use then they can be used. This is a step forward from the normal policies that say no cell phones are permitted.

Schools around the country are starting to implement new programs involving Apple ipads. They are giving these ipads to students to use for educational purposes. These ipads allow students to have everything they need in a little package.

Due to the increases of these types of programs, textbook manufacturers are making their textbooks available online as well. These ipads have numerous positive impacts on students and they are becoming more and more popular in schools today.

One way that students can use technology is by studying online. Students won't be held to learning in the class room but will be able to continue that learning at home. Some classes can even be taken online.

As the country becomes more open with technology schools are integrating it into the classroom more. It has several benefits that can be helpful in learning. It keeps students more focused and excited to learn because they are familiar with the technology that they are using.

It also allows students to progress at a pace that is more comfortable to them. They are able to learn at home and become more educated in that subject. It also prepares them for the continued rush of technology that is going to continue to come in the future.

There is a teacher in Maryland that teaches an advanced math class. The students in the class were very confused with the work. When seeing this get worse the teacher began to implement a new teaching style that involved technology.

The teacher, Stacey Roshan, video taped her lectures and uploaded them to the internet. The students would listen to it at home then they would have more time to practice problems in class.

Since starting this experiment the students have experienced a major jump in their grades on the AP tests. The percentage is a big step up and can be contributed to the advanced teaching methods they received.
