Everyone Can Code - Apple

Everyone Can Code - Apple  | Educación y tecnología | Scoop.it
Technology has a language. It’s called code. And we believe coding is an essential skill. Learning to code teaches you how to solve problems and work together in creative ways. And it helps you build apps that bring your ideas to life. We think everyone should have the opportunity to create something that can change the world. So we’ve designed a new approach to coding that lets anyone learn, write and teach it.

Why the Fastest Learners are always busy

Why the Fastest Learners are always busy | Educación y tecnología | Scoop.it
Quick learners do not learn faster because they know some secret way of learning. In today's world we are all looking for the quick fix, for the easy solution and the fast way to get to what we want.

We get everything we desire instantly. Movies are on demand, TV shows can be watched for hours on end, and even products are delivered right to your front door.

Expecting the same thing for acquiring knowledge does not work. What "quick" learners do instead is they continue to work above and beyond what the rest of us do. Below I have listed some differences between quick learners vs. normal learners.

How Students Can Use Timeline Infographics in the Classroom

How Students Can Use Timeline Infographics in the Classroom | Educación y tecnología | Scoop.it

As a foreign language teacher, I am always looking for innovative ways to allow my students to demonstrate what they have learned.

I want students to be able to choose a tool that brings out their creative side and, as a result, leads to a more authentic and meaningful learning experience.

Because learning a language can be difficult, I try to design a variety of activities and projects that will provide students with practice and unique opportunities to develop their language skills through the creation of their projects.

In the teaching field, we have to develop in our students different skills (cognitive, linguistic, etc.). However, we forget one of the most important for them: Creativity. The development of this skill is so important that it will improve at the same time the other skills. Students are more alike when face task where they can explore their imagination, even if they are adults, because it enhaces them to remember their childhood and work with more enthusiasm.
