Thanks for this comprehensive list. I teach via Skype and use Google hangout and Facetime with some students, friends and uni; colleagues. I don't know why more isn't made of these tools. Saves time and money. Any many of them are great for collaborative work.

A very comprehensive list here of video conferencing tools. I use Skype to teach English as a second language but fallback on Google Hangout and Facetime if we have any technical issues. Not that I've had any issues with Skype, but more my connection when I'm travelling.
When I've got some extra time I'm going to work my way through this list as I see there are a couple that don't require signing in, or downloading of software, which is useful when you want to communicate synchronously with people who are suspicious about logging in to any tools or who don't have the capacity for extra downloads. " La UNESCO pondrá sus publicaciones digitales a disposición de millones de personas alrededor del mundo, sin costo y con licencia abierta. Tras la decisión adoptada por el Consejo Ejecutivo de la Organización en abril, la UNESCO se convierte en el primer miembro de las Naciones Unidas en adoptar una política de Acceso Abierto para sus publicaciones. La nueva política significa que cualquier persona podrá descargar, traducir, adaptar, distribuir y volver a compartir las publicaciones y los datos de la UNESCO sin costo alguno.
Janis Karklins, Subdirector General de Comunicación e Información de la UNESCO, anunció la nueva política durante la inauguración del Foro de la Cumbre Mundial sobre la Sociedad de la Información, el 13 de mayo en Ginebra: “Investigadores de todos los países, pero principalmente de países en desarrollo y países menos desarrollados se beneficiarán y capitalizarán el acceso abierto al conocimiento”, dijo. “Nuestra nueva política nos permitirá incrementar la visibilidad, accesibilidad y la rápida distribución de nuestras publicaciones”, agregó. TPACK es el acrónimo de la expresión “Technological PedAgogical Content Knowledge” (Conocimiento Técnico Pedagógico del Contenido). Es un modelo que identifica los tipos de conocimiento que un docente necesita dominar para integrar las TIC de una forma eficaz en la enseñanza que imparte. Ha sido desarrollado entre el 2006 y 2009 por los profesores Punya Mishra y Mattew J. Koehler , de la Universidad Estatal de Michigan. En España es un modelo que desde Fundación Telefónica se ha divulgado en jornadas y espacios de debate para la formación del profesorado de la mano de Judi Harris y Narcís Vives. The module is based on the topics course format. It includes grading table of assignments on the top of course. You can set grade to pass. Cells of the table are colored by status: submitted (orange), passed (green) and failed (red). After clicking on a table cell appears grading page of the student.

What is the Moodle Course Creator Certificate?
The MCCC is a way for you to demonstrate your skills in using Moodle as a teacher. The assessment contains a course project, a short narrative document, and an online exam. You will be assigned an MCCC-certified mentor-assessor to help guide you through this process. When you pass the certification you are given a code that lets you (or anyone else you give it to) download your personalised certificate as a PDF from this site.
The MCCC is not a training course, it assumes that you already know what you need to know and just want to be assessed and certified. However, Moodle Partners may provide training courses that allow you to fulfill the project and narrative elements of the MCCC - please talk to your Moodle Partner about this. Ahora, “Hoja de cálculo” o “Spreadsheet” es el nombre que recibe el equivalente a Excel de Google, parte integral de la suite ofimática online de Google Drive.
