A statement of a learning objective contains a verb (an action) and an object (usually a noun). The verb generally refers to [actions associated with] the intended cognitive process. A great article that provides tips on how to encourage students to become innovative. They are, in fact, things that all teachers should be doing in all classrooms, but to see it put into perspective in terms of creativity is helpful, particularly as it is also framed in terms of usefulness for the future.

Facebook as a learning tool? A case study on the appropriation of social network sites from mobile phones in developing countries | Educação - Ensino - Aprendizagem Informal e as TIC | Scoop.it

First, unlike in previous studies, the analysis revealed explicit forms of educational content embedded in informal learning contexts in Facebook. Quizzes, case presentations and associated deliberate (e-)learning practices which are typically found in (more) formal educational settings were identified. Second, from a sociocultural learning perspective, it is shown how the participation in such virtual professional communities across national boundaries permits the announcement and negotiation of occupational status and professional identities.
