The AR narrative - show, don't tell.  AR is almost impossible to tell someone about if they haven't seen it.  The technology is getting better but AR is only just touching it's potential to create user value beyond the 'new and thrilling' factor.  Helpful to see the range of applications and think about how AR can significantly impact/disrupt current behavior and support human goals while minimizing the physical burden of tech devices.

The implementation of the Augmented Reality tecnology in the architecture field present the possibility of changing for the best the way architects interact with their clients, allowing them to understand in a more compreenhensive way the building and the funiture they are paying for. This tecnology will also allow the client to take their house with them and present it to any friend or family, creating a feeling of affection for the build even before it is built.

How To Use Formative Assessment With (And Without) Technology - Edudemic

How To Use Formative Assessment With (And Without) Technology - Edudemic | Edtech PK-12 | Scoop.it
Formative assessment tends to be a little more nebulous, and perhaps harder to nail it down with technology.

This was a neat little info graphic that gave some quick little snippets of insight into formative assessment. A point I liked was, “formative assessment is not a part of the grading process but it is a part of the instructional process.” I thought this was very helpful to think about, and a nice way to summarize the difference between formative and summative assessment. I also really like how the info graphic had ideas for formative assessment with and without technology. One of the suggestions for without technology was to have students fill out an exit ticket to allow them to leave. They had to write out one thing they learned from the lesson or some teachers can make their students summarize the lesson in a paragraph. One of my favorite technological formative assessments was when the teacher made a hashtag on twitter for students to use as a discussion forum.

Since I can not keep my smart phone out of my hands on a day to day basis this is a great link to ideas in incorporating technology with assessment in the classroom as well as ideas for formative assessment without technology.
