At http://www.learnclick.com it is very simple to create quizzes. For gap-filling exercises (so-called cloze tests) you just mark the words with your mouse. Learnclick.com also lets you generate drag & drop, drop down and matching exercises. You can insert images, video and sound into your quizzes. Share the quizzes with your students and view detailed statistics on how well your students performed. It is the ideal tool for language teachers. Via Nik Peachey

Learnclick is a really useful site for teachers. I reviewed it back in 2012 (http://www.quickshout.blogspot.co.uk/2012/03/create-interactive-cloze-texts.html), but they have been quite a lot of work since then, so well worth revisiting.

@Christine: Even so, it's very affordable ($19/y is less than $2 a month). It not being free might actually be a good thing, since you get good support with your subscription and we can pay our bills, so the product will not get closed down anytime soon. Slides is a new online HTML presentation creator by Hakim El Hattab who is also the author of Reveal.js application, which is why the tools are similar. An easy way of creating an online slide presentation without the coding knowledge. To learn how to work on slid.es, check out the tutorial http://slid.es/news/welcome-to-slides Free account lets you make public decks and gives you a storage space of 250 MB. There is also a Pro account for $7/mo with 2 GB of space.

Mindmapping has always been a great way to get your thoughts and plans organized. Here is an article which describes the top five most popular programs. Our personal preference is either Xmind or FreeMind, both free, but all of them will help your business.

Prezi isn't the only challenger of Keynote / Powerpoint any longer. Bunkr looks interesting, but I worry if this is not further transforming us into a cut'n'paste culture.

There are so many good things from Google. Check them out. One feature that I use often is the form features. I send out surveys and invitations. Responses feed into a spreadsheet. Delete the scoop?
