Games are a unique learning vehicle, combining high student engagement, learning of both content and 21st Century skills, and assessment.  Games4Ed (G4E) is taking a critical look at using the games as educational vehicles to advance learning opportunities for our students.

Our goal is to establish collaborations between educators, researchers, game developers, publishers and policy makers to further the use of games and other immersive learning strategies in schools to help the education sector fulfill the mission of preparing all children to become successful 21st century learners and citizens.

Games work.  The great key to teaching is student motivation. Most students will engage when it comes to game based education. That's where the learning takes place.
