60 iPad Productivity Apps For Modern Teachers

60 iPad Productivity Apps For Modern Teachers | EdTech by Mima | Scoop.it

But technology may be able to help. This list, for example. We’ve offered ideas in the past to helpteachers save time, but those can only do so much. As can these apps, but every little bit helps, yes? Your workload, grade level, school climate, personal organizational habits–even beliefs about what a teacher is supposed to be and do all matter more than an app, but if you’re mobile and connected, you at least have a chance.

From RSS readers to social readers to to-do lists to calendar apps to note-taking and cloud-based document editing and more, this list has to have something that can improve the efficiency of what you do.

Assuming you have an iPad.

While not every instructor has an iPad, those that do can find some apps that can certainly help them in their art of teaching. Many of these apps have Android counterparts as well.

15 iPad Apps to Enhance Students Creativity ~ Educational Technology and Mobile Learning

15 iPad Apps to Enhance Students Creativity ~ Educational Technology and Mobile Learning | EdTech by Mima | Scoop.it
"I am revisiting this topic of enhancing students creativity using iPad apps for the second time this year. Almost 10 months ago I featured here in Educational Technology and Mobile Learning a selection of some great apps http://bit.ly/185Tusc that can be used in class to boost students creative thinking; and today and after having reviewed hundred of new educational apps since that post, I decided to compile an updated version of that list and include some newly featured apps in the category of creativity. Of course by creativity I mean giving students the chance to take their learning to the next step, one in which they are active producers and participators in knowledge building. Creativity is all about creation and iPad is an ideal device to support this creative thinking. Check out the apps I have handpicked for you today and share with us if you have other suggestions :"

3 Excellent iPad Workflow Sheets for Teachers ~ Educational Technology and Mobile Learning

3 Excellent iPad Workflow Sheets for Teachers ~ Educational Technology and Mobile Learning | EdTech by Mima | Scoop.it
"Here is a set of some wonderful workflows sheets Greg Swanson has recently created from conversations with with Yr 4, 5 and 6 kids. These sheets document how students perform learning tasks using their iPads. The good thing about these materials is that they encourage students self reflect on both the process of how they learn and what they learn. Generously enough, Greg has provided these worksheets free for us to download and use with our students and here is what he said about them :"
