Higher education has remained pretty much the same for hundreds of years, but that may be about to change.
Kay Lehmann's insight:

Higher education needs more than an earthquake! I work in higher education, via online ed (but not MOOC's). We create the connections with our students that makes learning real and lasting, at a fraction of the cost of maintaining a university campus. There is something in-between the dinosaur that is higher education; and the vacuous mind candy for MENSA candidates that are MOOCs.
