This coming school year Amazon's new marketplace, Amazon Inspire, will offer "tens of thousands" of free lesson plans, worksheets, and other material for teacher use, uploaded by teachers. Educators familiar with Amazon's shopping experience will find many familiar features, including the search bar, user reviews, ratings, etc. While the resources will be free at launch, this could become a "one-stop shopping marketplace" that would include other academic and instructional needs (read: paid) pushing for more technology usage in schools. Districts will have the capability to restrict who sees materials and collections uploaded by their educators, limiting access to schools within their district.
