Editorial Cartooning

I've always been a big proponent of expressing my view of the world through my art. Throughout history across the world people have communicated using images that eventually became the written word and despite the amount of critism Cartooning seems to draw(pun intended) it like its' prehistoric relative the cave drawing is a vital form of cumminication that even in an ever increasingly technologically dependant world is still one of the fastest ways to share information. In a world that seems to be unable to spend more than a brief moment paying attention to anything I think that this is a great time to be a Cartoonist. The ability to make a convincing arguement with just a few lines and the right amount of words is a challenge and in the right hands can , if not change a persons way of thinking at least provide them with a different perspective and maybe even provide a laugh or two in a world that is desperately in need of a sense of humor.
