Does our current system prepare students for the world of tomorrow? Is education going in pace with the fast-paced developments in the world of technology? Do we really need a fundamental redesign of the educational experience? These are some of the questions the video below answers. I do share the view expressed in this video regarding the importance of technology in today's education. Our students are digital natives who have developed new learning styles that fit in with their digital lifestyles and schools should attend to these new learning needs and not ignore them."
How we learn is changing in response to a changing environment, from fluid digital environments to constant access to information, incredible peer networks to learning simulations, 21st century learning is teeming with possible learning pathways.
It is just amazing how internet is changing every bit of our life.Since the incarnation of the second generation of the web or what Tim O'Reilly called Web2.0, there has been a silent revolution going on in the virtual world regarding how end-users interact, produce, publish, and share online data.

Technology is changing at a rapid pace, so much so that it’s challenging to grasp. While there is little uniformity in technology, there are some…
António Leça's insight:
In 2013, technology has become not just a tool, but a standard and matter of credibility. While learning by no means requires technology, to design learning without technology is an exercise in spite proving a point at the cost of potential. And it’s difficult to forget how new this is.
I know it is hard to cover all the other features that characterize good teachers but the list below provides a synopsis of what to expect from good teachers. Critically speaking, the term good itself is vague and thus the difficulty to know exactly what to include in such classification.
As a teacher, you can use these collaborative web tools to explain abstract hard to grasp concepts to your students through diagrams, illustrative drawings, mindmaps...etc . You can also use them to get students working collaboratively on a classroom project. The cool thing about these collaborative whiteboard tools is that they are web-based and therefore do not require any software installation and you can access them anywhere with internet connection. Here are three new tools I recommend for you today, check them out below and share with us what you think of them.
