How To Find Openly Licensed Educational Resources You Can Use [Infographic]

How To Find Openly Licensed Educational Resources You Can Use [Infographic] | EDUcational Chatter |
Most of us turn to the internet when we are looking for resources to use for a presentation, report or article. The internet holds the key to so many robust resources.

Yet how many of these resources can you legally use for free? How many of them can you adapt?

That’s where Open Educational Resources (OER) can help. Here’s an infographic from the Center for Open Educational Resources and Language Learning (at the University of Texas at Austin) that can help.

Thanks to @Dennis T OConnor for sharing this infographic on finding and identifying open source education resources.

This is over two years old but it still sets out useful procedures for working with OER.

Every language teacher and student should contribute to make this a powerful resource concept. Language is an instrument; use it, take care of it, share it.

Bastante úteis estas informações para professores e gestores educacionais.

Creative writing in steps

This a great list, but, perfect?  I don't know about that :)  Stories aren't a magic bullet. However, applying these elements and telling the right story+right time+right audience... can make an emotional connection with your audience that impacts your business.

Oh boy, oh boy!  When I was a student, we worked like blazes becoz we had to or we'd've failed, but we had FUN too - lots and lots of it!  Now these poor devils are being analysed to death - and not even good jobs at the end of it -  Guys, u woz robbed...  the world has just been computerised to death!   Kids, take my advice, Have Fun  - don't look back on your student days and sigh for lost opportunities.

The History Of Learning Tools [Infographic]

The History Of Learning Tools [Infographic] | EDUcational Chatter |

You’re going to want to print out this infographic and, at the very least, share it with your fellow teachers and even students. It’s all about the history of education technology and could be used to educate just about anyone on how far we’ve come in a short period of time. We did a more in-depth look at the history of education technology about a year ago but this infographic is a lot more… fun.

Anyway, the below infographic from CTU can be viewed below or downloaded as a PDF here (so you can fire up that color printer). Enjoy the walk down memory lane!
