Michael Mazo's curator insight, December 13, 2014 2:25 PM

When a company sets out to embark upon a new project, they do everything in their power to achieve success because anything less would not be acceptable. When to comes to food, the human population is always making sure to have a steady supply because it is the single handedly most important good in our everyday life. Sometimes we take it for granted while kids in Africa pray for a plate of crumbs to curb their appetite. Overfishing affects our ecological system and potentially could bring about illness and disease. By collecting tuna at such an alarming rate its tough to see an end to the process. While many of our waters are polluted its no surprise to see contaminated food that could affect our health. Mercury in fish is a prime example of this and the more we fish the more we spread this to the population. Keeping in mind the hazards, one must always keep a good mindset of the source from which they are getting their food.
