I think because of the initial loss of more male-dominted jobs, this shouldnt have come as a shock. It is always hard to bounce back from things like this. I think though job shouldn't be gender determined, they typically are, and fields that typically have more women are becoming more and more prominent. I think it will slowly creep back up, but the slow in employment might've been a bit of a wake up call and caused these men to think "maybe this isnt the most secure of job fields for me".
